Bible Study Classes

Calvary Lutheran Church has a variety of opportunities for adults and youth to deepen their understanding of Scripture and Lutheran doctrine, in settings that encourage discussion and questions.

Every Sunday, youth 8th grade and up along with adults are invited to meet for Bible study at 10:15 am. Coffee is always available and even breakfast is offered most Sundays for a free will donation  to help support some of the church’s mission and outreach groups. A variety of classes and topics are offered to help meet the various needs and interests of our members.

Each Sunday, children age 3 through 7th grade are encouraged to attend Sunday School. There they will continue to have the Bible taught to them in engaging and age appropriate ways. The Catechism is also reinforced in their classes to better prepare them for confirmation class.

On the 2nd and 4th Sunday from 3-5 pm, all 7th through 12th graders are invited to Youth Group.  The youth spend the first hour in Bible Study with the pastor and then the 2nd hour playing games, table tennis, pool, or just chatting with their friends. Snacks and drinks are always provided. This can be a great way to engage your child in the life of the church while also building friendships with like minded peers.

On Thursday Morning, at 10 AM, all are invited to attend “Morning Break” for a Pastor led Bible Study which can be based on a book of the Bible or a specific topic the group was interested in.

On the first Monday of each month at 7 pm, the men of Calvary meet to enjoy a time of fellowship and Bible Study. This group is open to any adult men along with young men in high school.
