Our mission and vision is to help
connect people to faith
Mission: As a Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregation, our mission is to proclaim the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ to our community and beyond, nurturing believers through Word and Sacrament.
Vision: Our vision is to be a vibrant community of faith, grounded in God’s Word, where individuals encounter Christ, grow in discipleship, and joyfully serve others, reflecting His love and grace in all we do.
Our Beliefs & Values
The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod holds to the following core beliefs:
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and the sole authority for Christian faith and life
The Triune God
We believe in one true God, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Atonement
We believe that Jesus Christ, true God and true man, died on the cross to pay for the sins of all humanity, and that through His resurrection, all who believe in Him have forgiveness and eternal life.
Justification by Grace through Faith
We believe that people are justified, or made right with God, not by their own works, but by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
The Church
We believe in the universal Christian Church, made up of all believers, and the importance of the local church for worship, fellowship, and mission.
The Sacraments
We believe in the sacraments of Holy Baptism and the Lord’s Supper as means of grace, instituted by Christ Himself, through which God gives forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation.
The Return of Christ
We believe in the bodily return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead and to usher in the new heavens and the new earth.
These beliefs are foundational to the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod’s understanding of Christianity and guide its teaching, worship, and mission.
““I am bound by the Scriptures I have quoted and my conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot and will not recant anything, since it is neither safe nor right to go against conscience. May God help me. Amen.”
– Martin Luther
