Calvary Lutheran Church has been spiritually fed for over 50 years by our Lord Jesus Christ here in Topeka. The Holy Spirit moves us to love our neighbor and help those in need. God has provided us spiritual nourishment for eternal life, and in remembrance of Him feeding us, Calvary works to provide food to others to help meet their physical needs.  Below we've listed the different ministry opportunities and how to sign-up.

John 6:43 Jesus answered them ... v 51 "I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh".

Topeka North Outreach
-Continuation of donating food items.
 (Our goal is to double the amount of food given last year.)
-Volunteer at Operation Backpack to pack lunch meals for school children.
-Volunteer stocking of food.

Harvesters Community Food Network
-Volunteer stocking of food.
-Volunteer delivery.

Topeka Rescue Mission
-Volunteer stocking of food.
-Volunteer serving of meals.

Meals on Wheels
-Volunteer delivering of meals.

There are many at Calvary already volunteering in other ways to provide help or monetary support to help feed the hungry. Some of these examples include CLLC's support to Silverbackks, Elder's Dinners, Bingo Spud Party, Men's Group, etc. We thank everyone for their contributions to these efforts.
